Exclusive: Phil and Tino on the hospital rooftop
The hospital is made up of more than just doctors and nurses. Like Phil and Tino, a third of the workforce undertake non-clinical duties. Each day they clock in and receive a list of jobs that need doing. It can be anything from fixing blocked drains, maintaining and repairing holes in the road to clearing the rubbish that may land on the hospital roof. Phil and Tino are due for retirement in a few years but in the meantime, they continue to keep Wales's largest hospital - a 52 acre site - safe and sound for staff and patients.
