And Koniks which is Polish for 'little horse' so they not Konik ponies 鈥榗os that would mean 'pony ponies'! They鈥檙e actually related to wild horses from eastern Europe and they behave very much like wild horses. This is a little family group, one dominant stallion and a recently born foal. And they鈥檒l eat just about anything including wood, so they fatten up during the summer and the English winter is nothing on a east European winter so they survive quite happily without extra fodder. Thus they are low maintenance as the conservationists like to say. The wild horses of Norfolk: looking good and doing an excellent job.
