In a hidden corner of the Springwatch studio, the wildlife has come to the cameras. On one of the rafters of the studio barn is some straw, but who does it belong to? The nest has a few llittle chicks in and while sitting very quietly, Bill and kate catch a glimpse of the mother as she returns to feed her chicks. It is, of course, a wren, with five chicks in this precarious nest. As the week has progressed, more of the chicks have become visiible, and the hope is that before this series of Springwatch is over they may have fledged.
