A hazel twig with a camera taped to it reveals a weird world in the water under a bridge. Brook lampreys are very primitive creatures and these ones look like they are preparing to breed. They don't have normal jaws, they have sucker like mouths, that they use to stick on to small stones and pebbles to move them out of the way. Some are moving large rocks, and others thrash their tails to make the gravel even finer, as they prepare a sand bed. Sound recordist Chris Watson has used stereo hydrophones to capture the sound as the stones are moved around. Possibly a TV first.
