Australia's Referendum on Aborigines
By the mid-1960s Aborigines in Australia could vote - but they still didn't have equal rights in other areas of life. A referendum in 1967 aimed to change all that. Sam Watson was just a schoolboy at the time - but he was an enthusiastic campaigner for his people's rights.
