From a Burns Night in Ballymena, Helen Mark presents a night of music, poems, stories and poetry with an Ulster-Scots and Scottish flavour.
Helen Mark presents a programme comprising of various segments. From a Burns Night in Ballymena, a trip round the Province for 'A Braw Brew o Wurds', meeting a selection of native Ulster-Scots speakers. Next, it is off to Belfast's Waterfront Hall for 'A Bunch of Thyme', a concert with Celtic fiddlers and singers. There is more crack in 'Kins o Men for Aa that' with readings and humour; before Tom Paulin explores the phenomenon of 'Braid Scots'. The show concludes with a number of people saying what Ulster-Scots means to them.
