Steve Line
Steve Line brings you a mix of music and conversation.
If it's music you like then join Steve every Sunday afternoon 2pm-4pm for his show Walk Right Back where he looks back at all things bright and musical from the mid 50s to the mid 80s.
The show always includes some of the very best tracks from those eras along with Steve's amusing and informative nostalgic features such as the Not So Mouldy Oldie, the Wordless Wonder and Headlines from Yesteryear.
Occasionally Steve invites star guests on to the programme and has spoken to Chas Hodges of Chas 'n' Dave, plus a live studio special with the brilliant Elkie Brooks.
Steve has a long history as a DJ having played at many big venues in the UK and abroad.
In fact he went on a week's holiday to Corfu in early 1995 and didn't get back until 1996 after being persuaded (quite easily) to stay on as an on-stage compere at a local club.
Having always harboured an ambition to become a radio presenter, his chance came first as a sports summariser striking up a great relationship with Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Cambridgeshire's Cambridge United commentator Mark Johnson.
As Johnno and Lino they have developed a tremendous on air rapport and no, it's not true that they are married.
Lino's break came in August 2008 when he was given the chance to present a music show for 12 weeks on Sunday afternoons.
He came up with the concept of Walk Right Back and the rest, as they say, is history.
So Steve's lifestyle comprises of going to work, playing music for a living, then going home and playing music to relax. Perfect.
