Tom Lowe on Saturday
Tom looks at the morning news, sport and papers with some great music to wake up to.
Getting up at silly o'clock to be on air at 0600 on a Saturday is not everyone's idea of a great job - but Tom looks forward to every Saturday breakfast show.
It's a programme that's got a growing audience who appreciate the whole show is live from Gloucestershire, unlike other radio stations that broadcast to the county.
Tom's with you to help to get Gloucestershire's weekend started in the best possible way with a look at the morning news, sport and newspapers - plus the latest weather and travel information.
There's also a chance to hear Anne Bartlett, Tom's Gloucestershire Guide, who suggests somewhere nice to go and visit.
All together with some fine music, carefully handpicked, to make the morning feel fab!
As a reward for getting up early on Saturday Tom is allowed a lie in on Sunday, so long as he gets to Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Gloucestershire by one o'clock!
Sunday's show features music from the past 50 years as Tom spends two hours delving through the record library.
Somebody in the county talks about their music tastes and chooses their favourite songs of all time in "The Record Box".
There's music from one album that everybody should own in their record collection with "The Classic LP", themed tracks in the "Perfect Playlist" and enjoy "Please Sir, I Want Some More..." where we play one very, very, very long song in full!
If you've ever wanted to listen to all those great vinyl records you own, but you don't own a turntable anymore... or if you lent your favourite album to your friend at school three decades ago and you haven't had it returned since... then join Tom on a Sunday afternoon and, you never know, you might hear that great piece of music once again!
