Local farming, food and environmental features, and gardening advice in the last hour.

Lesley's career at the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ began in 1980 at Look East and then our sister station Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Norfolk.

However, after a few years she saw the light and moved south with her two sons to live in Suffolk.

Lesley once lived in the antiques capital of East Anglia, Long Melford. She says it was a fantastic place to bring up her children with great local facilities and the countryside on the doorstep.

She also remembers the village for its several pubs, but is adamant she never managed to visit them all in one session!

After 10 years Lesley moved to Ipswich to live with fellow Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Suffolk presenter Mark Murphy, then in 2002 Lesley became Mrs Murphy when Mark surprised her by proposing when they were on holiday in Las Vegas - fortunately she said yes.

Since then Lesley's mum and dad have also migrated from Norfolk to Suffolk and now live in Orford.

After moving to Ipswich Lesley has become an ITFC season ticket holder at Portman Road and she has also become a Rotarian.

In her remaining spare time she likes gardening, walking their rescue dog Satsuma, and driving her Mini - a Christmas present from Mark!

Lesley has loved working in Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Local Radio since the first day she visited studios in Leeds during the 1970s and still cannot believe she actually gets paid for meeting and chatting with fascinating people.
