ERIC, The Children’s Bowel & Bladder Charity

supports children and teenagers struggling with bowel or bladder issues. One and half million children in the UK are affected by a bowel or bladder condition which can cause constipation, soiling and wetting accidents. The impact on their life and their families can be devastating. ERIC’s free helpline and online services offer a lifeline to those battling these conditions.

Mollie and Eva

Mollie and Eva
Mollie has ulcerative colitis. She’s now sharing Eva’s story, who experienced devastating toileting issues after a blood clot on her spine burst, damaging her bowel and bladder. ERIC has helped Eva to successfully manage her condition.

Supporting families

Supporting families
Some families don’t seek help because of embarrassment, stigma or hoping that the problem will resolve as their children grow. Left untreated, these conditions can cause long-term damage to children’s health and wellbeing.

Impact

Impact
No child should suffer in silence. Join ERIC in helping to make sure that families struggling with debilitating bowel and bladder issues are heard and receive the support they need.
