Georgia Mann returns to the legendary London jazz club Ronnie Scott’s for more festive fun, as Giacomo Smith's Big Band presentsThe Nutcracker Suite - Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn's jazz interpretation of Tchaikovsky's seasonal masterpiece - alongside some Christmas favourites.

Italian-American clarinettist and saxophonist, Giacomo Smith, has made London his home for over a decade. It was witnessing the talent and creative spirit of the capital's jazz scene that inspired him to form Kansas Smitty's back in 2012. This seventeen-piece big band represents a new sound for Smitty's, inspired by ‘The Duke's’ music, and packed full of London’s top Jazz players, they bring bags of Christmas cheer to the world-famous jazz club in it's 65th year. Plus Ronnie Scott's Artistic Director James Pearson shares some of his favourite festive jazz recordings.
