As COP29 unfolds in Baku, adventurer and writer Alice Morrison embarks on an unforgettable journey across Azerbaijan, seeking the country's most authentic experiences and meeting some remarkable women along the way. Travelling through four of the world's five climate zones, Alice ventures into lush forests where a global initiative is reintroducing the majestic European bison to the Caucasus, follows the ancient Silk Road to uncover the artistry of traditional silk printing in historic towns, sets fire to the waters of an ancient hot spring, and sees Azerbaijani culture afresh through a new lens of a young, trendsetting female photographer.
