Nordic Music Days and a special music session

Celebrating Scotland's classical world, Jamie MacDougall highlights the work of the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Scottish Symphony Orchestra in concert and other Scottish artists and ensembles.

Jamie shares highlights from Nordic Music Days festival with a performance by the RSNO and violinist Isabelle Faust from Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. There’s music in the studio from accordionist Melia Simonot, the winner of ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Scotland’s Young Classical Musician 2024. Plus the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ SSO and pianist Zlata Chochieva conjure the world of black and white movies and Fred Astaire dancing in music from their latest album release.
