A Venezuelan concerto and a Nordic music festival
Celebrating Scotland's classical world, Jamie MacDougall highlights the work of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scottish Symphony Orchestra in concert and other Scottish artists and ensembles.
Jamie MacDougall has the best seat in the house with a recent Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scottish Symphony Orchestra performance, as Venezuelan pianist Gabriela Montero joins them to perform her dynamic Latin concerto. Nordic Music Days takes place in Scotland for the first time ever this week, and Jamie shares details of special events and concerts to mark the occasion, alongside music by Nordic composer Stenhammer. Plus Scottish Opera Orchestra and Chorus perform Cherubini’s tragic opera Medea.
