is a drugs education charity that supports young people to make safer choices about drugs and alcohol. It does this through workshops, drama, and resources for young people and the adults in their lives, like parents and teachers.Β

Dan’s story
Dan was just 16 when he died after taking an accidental overdose of ecstasy at a rave. His parents, Fiona and Tim, set up the charity to try and prevent the same thing happening to other young people.Β

Current NHS data shows that over half of 15 year olds say they have been offered illegal drugs in the last year. It’s why young people need education to navigate situations involving drugs and alcohol so they can make informed and safer choices.

Making an impact
The DSM Foundation has a wide range of drug education provision so young people have different ways in which they can engage with it. They need to be able to look after themselves, and look out for each other.
