Then Nami receives a call from Kokoro on the Radio Snail, and Kokoro tells them to jump into the falls. Determined to protect his precious friend, Luffy makes the jump and stretches his arms to take the other Straw Hat Pirates with him. On the way down toward the fall, he has a flashback of how Shanks, his boyhood hero, saved his life.
