Waste and refuse workers across Scotland are set to take eight days of industrial action over pay from 12 August. Unions say the strikes will affect the 'smallest villages to the biggest cities.' The Scottish government has been urged to hold urgent talks with the unions. Should the bin strikes go ahead? Or should the Scottish government intervene?
