Gary Davies sits in for Vernon Kay and welcomes Australian singer, songwriter, television personality and actress Delta Goodrem.

Delta signed a recording contract with Sony Music at the age of just 15. Her debut studio album, β€œInnocent Eyes” (2003), topped the ARIA Albums Chart for 29 non-consecutive weeks and is the second-best-selling Australian album of all time with over four million copies sold. That debut album also reached No. 2 in UK Charts. With hits such as β€œBorn To Try”, β€œLost Without You”, β€œWings” and the most recent β€œHearts On The Run”. Back in February she was one of the stars of Radio 2's Piano Room Month, where among her tracks she performed a duet of Take That's β€œRule The World” with Gary Barlow.

Delta's also one of the artists confirmed to play Radio 2 In The Park in September, which this year will be held at Moor Park in Preston.
Delta said: β€œI am so excited and honoured to be performing at Radio 2 in the Park this year and come to Preston for the first time! Radio 2 has become a music home for me these past couple years, from the amazing airplay support of my new music to asking me to be part of their Piano Room Month - I am thrilled to continue our journey together on a big stage with everyone.”
