Scotland’s Makar Kathleen Jamie joins Zara to discuss her new poetry collection Cairn which reflects on both personal and natural history, exploring the spiritual power of our connection to nature.

Zara chats to two members of the Iona Community which has, for over a decade, had a presence at the Glastonbury Festival for those seeking quiet refuge from the music and madness.

This week’s This Spiritual Life guest is Manda Scott - the critically acclaimed author of historical thriller series Boudica, and the award-winning A Treachery of Spies. Manda discusses her new book, Any Human Power, her varied career, and the influence her Shaman faith has had on her life.

As Louisiana becomes the first state in America to pass a new law that The 10 Commandments must be displayed in classrooms, the panel discuss their relevance in day-to-day life and what other commandments are needed for the 21st Century.

Plus as ITV’s new drama Douglas is Cancelled comes to air, the panel explore the relationship between faith and cancel culture.
