Your Visa Card’s Been Hacked

A woman thinks she’s speaking to Visa’s fraud department and that her debit card’s been hacked. But she’s actually speaking to scammers from India, and they want her money.

A British woman thinks she’s speaking to Visa’s fraud department, which is telling her that her debit card has been hacked and an unauthorised transaction made. She’s actually speaking to scammers based in Jaipur, India, and the only thing they’re after is her money, but she won’t know that unless the Interceptors can get hold of her to warn her not to part with her cash.

Meanwhile, ethical hacker Jim Browning gives chapter and verse on who’s behind some of the scam call centres he’s hacked into, and how much money the people at the top are making from their crimes.
