He learns about the incredible story of the Jewish refugees that found shelter in this country during World War II. He also discovers how to make the delicious plantain dish of mofongo, meets some of the finest merengue musicians in the country, and heads to a busy banana farm, where he discovers a Dominican drink with a very racy reputation.
