For 11 months of the year, the city of La Vega is well off the tourist track. But each February, it bursts into life. Over the course of four weekends, it鈥檚 loud, hot and colourful as visitors from all over the world arrive to join in the famous street carnivals. Clive is in the party mood and throws himself into the fun. He stocks up on local sweet treats, meets talented mask makers and prepares outrageous costumes before joining the parade in full costume.
