with Stephen Jardine
The UK covid inquiry heard from former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon yesterday. Stephen asks - what did you make of it? Also on the show, Rick Astley, fasting and homemade coffee.
PHONE-IN
Nicola Sturgeon has given a tearful defence of her decision making during the pandemic and apologised to those who lost loved ones.
In evidence to the UK Covid inquiry yesterday, she admitted deleting her WhatsApp messages and denied presiding over a culture of secrecy in her government. Becoming visibly emotional, she said part of her wished she hadn't been First Minister when coronavirus struck.
And she robustly rejected claims that the decisions she made were politically motivated to try to advance the cause of independence.
