Jo Whiley is Wednesday's Children in Need Champion

Jo Whiley is the latest endurance hero to offer up hints, tips and tracks to motivate as Vernon's Children in Need Champions edition of Tracks of My Years continues.

With less than a week to go until Vernon's Ultra Ultramarathon Challenge, it's a special week on Tracks of My Years as Vernon gets a pep talk from a different celebrity each day.

They're also gifting Vernon a couple of motivational songs to keep him going, and today his guest is Radio 2's very own Jo Whiley, herself no stranger to a charity challenge.

In 2014, she spent over 24 hours on a treadmill, raising money for Sport Relief, then in 2020, she joined forces with Richie Anderson and Rev Kate Bottley for the Radio 2 Dare 2 Tri challenge, undertaking three triathlons in three cities across three days. You can hear Jo every Monday to Thursday from 7pm on Radio 2, or whenever you like on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Sounds.

There'll also be more audio nuggets from the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Archive in Vernon's Vault, plus the mid-morning music quiz Ten to the Top.
