John Bishop is Vernon's Children in Need Champion today!

Continuing a special Vernon's Children in Need Champions edition of Tracks of My Years, John Bishop is the latest endurance hero to offer up hints, tips and tracks to motivate.

It's a special week on Tracks of My Years, as Vernon gets two motivational songs and a pep talk from a different celebrity each day - his Children in Need Champions, all of whom have been through an endurance challenge of their own.

Today, it's the turn of comedian John Bishop with his advice for taking on a physical test of this scale. In 2012, John rowed and ran from Paris to Trafalgar Square, covering more than 290 miles in five days, in an event dubbed his 'Week of Hell'.

Plus, there'll be more audio nuggets from the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Archive in Vernon's Vault and, of course, the mid-morning music quiz Ten to the Top.
