On the phone-in: with the Cycling World Championships starting in Glasgow this week, is Scotland鈥檚 biggest city 鈥榝ilthy and dilapidated鈥�?

PHONE IN: Glasgow must capitalise on hosting the Cycling World Championships by using it to help clean up and rejuvenate the city, according to Labour MSP Paul Sweeney. His comments come after businessman Michael Bergson claimed the city was in a 鈥榮tate of filth and dilapidation鈥�. Glasgow will host the majority of the 13 world cycling events, costing about 拢13m, from 3-13 August. Council leaders reject criticisms of how the city looks.
