It's Glastonbury weekend!

Former Sex Pistol Glen Matlock will be on the Pyramid Stage with Blondie as their current bassist, he's also chatting to Johnnie about his 70s memories.

Glen Matlock made his name as part of the Sex Pistols in the 70s, but his stint in the band is only a small part of his musical career.

He had a big hand in writing much of the music on their album Never Mind the Bollocks – Here Come the Sex Pistols, but was replaced on bass by the arrival of Sid Vicious.

After he left in 1977, he formed The Rich Kids with Midge Ure and went on to collaborate with the likes of Tom Robinson, Mick Ronson, Iggy Pop and The Damned, to name but a few.

These days, he's still as busy as ever and recently released a solo album called Consequences Coming.

If that wasn’t enough, he’s currently on tour, playing bass with Blondie and he’ll be on the Pyramid stage at with them Glastonbury on Sunday afternoon.

Johnnie spoke to him earlier in the week to hear a bit about his 70s memories and current projects including his time with Blondie.

Elsewhere on the programme, more Jukebox action - we're up to number 502. There are stories from This Week in Music courtesy of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Archives, plus Johnnie's got another BTO - Better Than (the) Original - as chosen by you.
