Tuned In: 100 Years of Scottish Broadcasting
Kaye Adams looks at how Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland has changed over the last 100 years and explores how it has attempted to reflect a changing nation in its comedy, drama and documentaries.
Kaye Adams examines how Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland has, over the last 100 years, wrestled with reporting on the big events in Scotland’s history whilst also trying to reflect a changing nation in its comedy, drama and documentaries.
Since 1923, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland has had to deal with advances in technology, political whirlwinds, fierce competition and vast social change in order to broadcast to the nation.
Now Kaye Adams wants to explore what the radio, television and online output of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland can tell us about the broadcaster and the nation it broadcasts to. This documentary will not only tell a fascinating story about a national institution, it will also allow some well-known faces the chance to look back on their memories of working at the Beeb and explore what Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland means to them.
