SNP leadership contender Kate Forbes has denied her campaign has been derailed by comments on gay marriage. She has said she is still in the running "at the moment" after being criticised for her views, although some key backers of the finance secretary have withdrawn their support.
Three candidates are currently in the running to replace Nicola Sturgeon as first minister of Scotland: Kate Forbes, Humza Yousaf and Ash Regan.
In order to continue, they each have until Friday to secure 100 nominations from at least 20 local SNP branches.
The new leader is set to be announced on 27 March.
