The Chancellor Jeremy Hunt had one message for older workers and early retirees in a speech on growth -- "Britain Needs You" -- but new research seen by the Â鶹ԼÅÄ suggests employers might not be so keen to take them on. A survey of over 1,000 managers by the Chartered Management Institute found only 42% of those surveyed would be open to hiring 50-64-year-olds to a large extent. This drops to 18% for people aged 65 and over.
