Former prisoner Erwin James reviews "A Prison's Guide To..." podcast; artist Kim Bergsagel and the Manipulate Festival; and a deep dive into the world of deep fakes.

Ahead of LGBT+ History Month in February Tony is joined by Azeem, one of the founding members of Imaan, an LGBTQ support group for queer identifying Muslims and their allies, and Carol Joyner who is a member of Augustine United Church in Edinburgh to discuss how they balance their religious beliefs with their LGBTQ+ identities.

A new podcast series called β€œA Prison’s Guide To…” reveals first-hand life experiences from ex-prisoners and prison staff, gaining insight into their relationships and revealing the moments that changed the course of their lives. Tony discusses the issues raised with Jill Brown, founder of Conviction Records, and Erwin James a former prisoner and author.

Following Rishi Sunak calling on his ethics advisor to investigate the circumstances around the tax affairs of the Chairman of the Conservative Party, Tony examines what an ethics advisor does and whether ethics is more than just following the rules. He's joined by author and philosopher Julian Baggini and Rev Stella Campbell minister of Skene Parish Church in Aberdeenshire.

What makes a good life and why do we strive to live the longest life possible? Tony is joined by Jewish scholar David Goodman and the Reverend Gary Noonan to discuss how religion and leading a good life could be related.

A new TV sketch show Deep Fake Neighbour Wars delves into the ethics of deep fake technologies and how they can affect us in our daily lives. He is joined by Dr Mhairi Aitken, Ethics Research Fellow at The Alan Turing Institute, and digital enthusiast David Goodman.

This year’s Manipulate Festival in Edinburgh kicks off this week. Tony speaks to critic Gareth K Vile and Kim Bergsagel, one of the creators of β€œThe Fantastic Life of Minnie Rubinski” which features film, sound and puppetry.
