Gary Lineker introduces live coverage as defending champions France take on surprise package Morocco, who are the first African side to reach the World Cup semi-finals.

France ended England’s hopes with a 2-1 victory in a closely fought quarter-final on Saturday, moving one step closer to becoming the first side to retain the World Cup Trophy since Brazil 60 years ago. Key man Kylian Mbappe has five goals and two assists in Qatar but is likely to be closely marked by Morocco’s star right-back Achraf Hakimi, who is a teammate of Mbappe at Paris St-Germain.

The Moroccans have already beaten Belgium, Spain and Portugal at this tournament to write their names into footballing folklore. Another shock victory would see them become the first side from outside of Europe or South America to reach the final.

Alan Shearer, Rio Ferdinand and Didier Drogba provide expert analysis, with commentary from Steve Wilson and Danny Murphy.
