When he was wee boy, Rab Florence came across a book called ‘Haunted Britain’ written in the 1940s by scientific investigator Elliott O'Donnell. He was equally captivated and horrified by tales of lonely vigils where O’Donnell was visited by the spirits of dead prisoners, ghostly beasts, and beautiful yet terrible spectral women. What a dreadful job, young Rab thought, exploring haunted locations, all alone…

If little Rab could see where he was heading for this Halloween Night, he’d be wondering where things went so wrong…

In this special programme, Rab Florence is following in O’Donnell’s footsteps, exploring one of Glasgow’s most mysterious haunted places - The Panopticon Music Hall.

But, he has no idea where he’s going, or anything about the haunted history of the building. Everything is being kept secret from him, until he turns up, blindfolded, at the stage door.
