ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ workers are likely to return to the office this winter, experts have suggested, because of the added cost of working from home. According to price comparison site Uswitch average monthly energy bills will hit Β£789 in January for home workers compared with Β£580 for those going into work. This equates to Β£209 a month and Β£2,508 a year.

As well as this, new research suggests over a fifth of Scottish workers have been told to return to the office full time. The findings, carried out for social business Flexibility Works, indicated a total of 22 per cent of desk-based workers have now been asked to go back into the office on a full-time basis and not to work from home.
