Reverend Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad present uplifting stories about life, love and modern spirituality, alongside a great soundtrack for your Sunday morning.

This morning their guest is Welsh musician and composer Mal Pope. Born in Brynhyfryd, Swansea, into a family of teachers, he began learning to play the guitar aged 7 and was soon writing songs. Mal chats to Kate and Jason about his life, faith and music. He also shares stories of his extraordinary 40 year career including the time he sent a tape of songs to 麻豆约拍 Radio 1 presenter John Peel who then invited him to perform at the 麻豆约拍, how he came to sing one of the most iconic TV themes of all time, 鈥楩ireman Sam鈥�, and how he spent Christmas parties with Elton John playing games of Subbuteo.

Also, anthropologist and author Catherine Munro joins to chat about her book The Ponies At The Edge Of The World, a story of community, hope and finding home.
