To mark her Platinum Jubilee, people from all over Wales tell their stories of meeting Her Majesty The Queen during her 70 years on the throne.
In a special programme to mark Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee, people from all over Wales remember their meetings with The Queen. Those recalling their encounters with the monarch include Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, former Blue Peter presenter Tim Vincent and Falklands War veteran Simon Weston.
Coronation Street star William Roache remembers meeting the Queen when he served in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, Maureen Jones recalls meeting Her Majesty as a little girl in Brecon in the 1950s while Aberfan survivor Gaynor Madgwick recalls The Queen's visits to the village since the disaster in1966.
Dog breeder Mary Davies from South Wales talks about supplying The Queen with a corgi, politician Dafydd Elis-Thomas reminisces about the Queen's sense of humour and solo harpist Claire Jones from West Wales remembers performing for Her Majesty in the ballroom of Buckingham Palace.
