Politicians have condemned the suggestion that Labour's deputy leader Angela Rayner tries to distract the prime minister in the Commons by crossing and uncrossing her legs. The Mail on Sunday said some unnamed Conservative MPs had made the claim.
Angela Rayner says women in politics face sexism and misogyny every day and Nicola Sturgeon has said 'it’s a reminder of the deep misogyny women face every day'.
