Speaking Our Language appeared on our TV screens almost 30 years ago. Since then it has encouraged and helped many people on their journey to learning Gaelic. The programme looks back at the series, showing how it began, what it was like to work on it and its legacy.

Through interviews with some of the main people connected to the series such as Rhoda MacDonald, Marisa MacDonald, Donald ‘Ryno’ Morrison, Wilma Kennedy and Duncan MacNeil, viewers gain an insight into one of the most recognisable Gaelic TV series in Scotland.

Hair, fashion and acting are just some of the topics which will be covered in this fun programme, full of personal, hilarious and heart-warming stories.
