Omnibus of five episodes with medieval literature scholar Dr Carolyne Larrington:

She begins in Shropshire at the foot of the mighty Wrekin, in search of the most prolific landscape shapers in British folk tales - the giants.

In Marden, she explores freshwater mermaids and other folkloric creatures that are said to live in Britain's rivers and ponds.

Next In Windsor Great Park, where folkloric creatures are said to lurk in Britain's woodlands and forests.

In Orkney, where folkloric creatures are said to dwell in the sea and on the shore.

Finally in North Yorkshire, Dr Carolyne explores the folkloric creatures said to reside on Britain's farms.
