Led Zeppelin IV turns 50!

Led Zeppelin IV is 50 - Johnnie marks the occasion for 'This Week In Rock', and Steve Hogarth from Marillion chooses his Rock God.

On the 8th of November 1971, Led Zeppelin released their fourth album. Fifty years later, it's still regarded as one of the greatest albums of the 20th century and is one of the best selling LP's of all time. Johnnie will focus 'This Week In Rock' on the anniversary, and we'll hear Jimmy Page talking about one of the stand-out tracks courtesy of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Archives. We'll also get to hear a remarkable cover of one of the album's most famous songs, covered by one of the best ever female-fronted rock bands.

Elsewhere on the show, Steve Hogarth from Marillion will choose his Rock God - the band are soon to head out on a UK tour. Steve's been lead singer of Marillion since the departure of Fish in 1989, and the band have released an impressive 15 albums since then!
