with Jackie Brambles

Jackie asks: What would it take for you to feel safer on the streets? Also on the show: Diversity training and Nicola Singleton's gardening surgery

PHONE IN: SARAH EVERARD
The Metropolitan Police will deploy an extra 650 officers to busy public places - to try to reassure women and girls following the murder of Sarah Everard. Yesterday, Wayne Couzens - himself an officer at the Met - was given a whole-life prison term for kidnapping the marketing executive in south London in March before raping and killing her. Scotland Yard has admitted the case is part of a "much bigger and troubling picture".

Jackie asks: What would it take for you to feel safer on the streets?

ALSO ON THE SHOW:

DIVERSITY TRAINING
As a University asks students to complete compulsory diversity training, including a module on 'white privilege', we're asking if everyone could benefit from taking this kind of training.

GARDENING SURGERY
It's sleigh bells this week as Nicola Singleton puts on her elf hat and tells us the bulbs to plant right now to enjoy a riot of seasonal colours come Christmas.

WHAT’S ON GUIDE
Your must-have guide to what's on across the country this weekend is on the way - including fresh produce in Peterhead, multicultural fun in Edinburgh and Jazz meets the Blues in Callendar.

DRESS-DOWN WEDDINGS
As pictures of a couple celebrating their wedding day in tracksuits goes viral; has the trend for dressing down gone too far or would you happily tie the knot in an elastic waistband?

BUTCHERS
We’re being warned that a shortage of butchers could impact food supplies over Christmas. Is it still an attractive career choice?

BAD PARENTS CLUB
Our panel of bad parents are back to talk elaborate (and not so elaborate) packed lunches, the battle over unmade beds, and should kids use social media to plan their own playdates?
