Emma has something to get off her chest and Kenton declares war.

Oliver comes clean to Eddie that he didn’t manage to talk Jolene and Kenton out of entering a hanging basket in the Flower & Produce Show. He doesn’t want to spin them a story, it goes against the grain for him. He’d rather tell them the truth about the homage to Joe. Eddie’s inspired, and decides to combine the two, spinning the truth into something that tugs on Kenton’s heart strings. It works. However, Kenton’s resolve to enter is renewed by Fallon’s timely reminder that Joe conned him out of many a pint over the years, and Eddie’s just as bad. Kenton assures Jolene that they’re going to wipe the floor with Eddie Grundy.
Emma visits Alice. Alice braces herself for the worst, but after Emma divulges that her brother’s in bits, she concedes she hadn’t realised what Alice had been going through, and that she could have been more sympathetic. She gets that there are times people don’t know what they’re doing. In turn Alice admits she may have pushed Emma. She tries to explain why she told Chris it’s over between them. She can only get better by herself, and she can’t do it with Chris watching her. Emma thinks that sounds like Alice doesn’t care. Alice explains she loves Chris more than ever, and it’s breaking her heart – but she has to do it. Reluctantly, Emma agrees Alice is right.
