Tracy notices how tired Susan’s looking. She suggests Martha stay with her for a night to ease the strain and give Susan a break, but Susan won’t hear of it. Tracy reminds Roy she’s switched her shift as she has a meeting with Chelsea’s head of year to discuss her options. Later Tracy tells Susan that Chelsea didn’t turn up for the meeting. She’s unsure whether Chelsea has little confidence due to her dyslexia or she’s just not interested in learning. Tracy’s worried Chelsea will end up like her.

Elizabeth has taken Lily hat shopping for Steph’s wedding. Lily gushes about how happy she and Russ are and that they plan to have a night away at Grey Gables. They discuss how David has a lot riding on the success of the wedding. Elizabeth comments that Vince also seems to be getting nervous.

Elizabeth is disappointed when Vince tells her that Steph has asked if she would mind not coming to the wedding; it’s nothing personal, it’s just due to numbers. With good grace, Elizabeth asks Vince to take lots of photos and to bring her back some cake. Lily intervenes and calls Steph but before she gets a chance to broach the subject, Steph invites Lily and Russ to the wedding. Lily relays all this to Elizabeth – Vince has clearly fed Elizabeth a pack of lies.
