How has working from home been for you, and will you be allowed to carry on?
If you have been working from home for the last year and a half, are you now being asked to return to the office for all or some of the week? What would be your preference? Many of the UK's biggest employers say they do not plan to bring their staff back to the office full-time. Many managers are considering a 'hybrid' model of working which involves a certain number of days in the office, with the rest of the week worked from home.
Many people need to work flexibly, so they can, for instance, meet their family or caring responsibilities. Some have found working from home really difficult and can't wait to return to their workplace. For others, home working may not be possible, but flexible working might help them with arrangements like part-time work, job-shares, compressed hours or flexi-time.
Get in touch if you're a worker or a manager or if you've seen the effects of working from home on someone else. Tell us - how has working from home been for you, and will you be allowed to carry on?
