How are you feeling about the prospect of life returning to normal, now lockdown is starting to lift?
After a really difficult year or so, in which many of our freedoms have been restricted, the lockdown is now starting to ease. Travelling, enjoying a pint or a restaurant meal indoors, going to the cinema or just meeting friends at home, are now allowed for most of us. For some it's a big relief and many people can't wait to reclaim the life they lost last year.
But others are not so sure. The risk of infection is still present and there have been warnings about a new more transmissable Indian variant of the virus. Some people are feeling anxious or reluctant to return to life as it was before. Getting back into socialising after months spent mainly at home can feel like a challenge. Mixing with groups of people indoors after avoiding just that for so long, might also feel stressful or uncomfortable. Some people have genuinely enjoyed the more withdrawn existence of lockdown and are happy not to return to life before the Coronavirus.
