Magic Bus UK

Usually using sport, physical activities and mentoring, Magic Bus helps India’s most vulnerable children on the journey out of poverty. Currently in this COVID-19 surge, community-based sessions and group after-school programmes have to be held online where possible, to help over 375,000 children across India learn the skills and get the support they need to succeed in school, avoid child marriage and child labour, live healthier lives, and to leave poverty behind.

Helping India’s Vulnerable Children

Helping India’s Vulnerable Children
Millions of children all over India are living in extreme poverty, with many more falling into hardship during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Without support, boys and girls across the country risk dropping out of school and being forced into child marriage or child labour, their future taken away from them.

The Journey out of Poverty

The Journey out of Poverty
Our special activity-based sessions, currently being given online rather than in person, run by local Magic Bus Mentors, are helping children learn the importance of staying in school to get the education they need to succeed, how to stay healthy (especially during the Pandemic), and to develop the confidence and determination they need.

India’s Most Vulnerable Children Need Help, Now More Than Ever

India’s Most Vulnerable Children Need Help, Now More Than Ever
The COVID-19 Pandemic has resulted in more and more of India’s children falling into poverty, and they need help now more than ever. A donation of £20 will allow a vulnerable child to join their local Magic Bus programme and get the support and learn the skills they need to start the journey out of poverty.
