Keats - The Eve of St Agnes

4 Extra Debut. A medieval tale of youthful passion inspired a major poem by John Keats. Radio dramatisation stars Michael Maloney. From 1995.

A gothic fantasy in which the heroine Madeline hopes to be visited on St Agnes' Eve, according to legend, by the vision of the man she is to marry. The story inspired the romantic poet John Keats to write his celebrated poem.
