A toddler arrives at the emergency department at Wrexham Maelor with his mum who fears he has meningitis. His younger sister is already on the hospital鈥檚 children鈥檚 ward due to concerns over the same infection. Back in casualty, a two-month-old is rushed in by his grandmother. His mother can鈥檛 be there because she鈥檚 already at a different hospital with his very poorly twin brother. The ward gathers to celebrate as a young patient marks completing his chemotherapy treatment and the busy staff make time for a special send-off for one of ward鈥檚 best-loved nurses. This series was filmed in January 2020.
