Lucy Alexander is joined by three entrepreneurs to watch customers test and score their inventions: a dry-wash shampoo for kids and adults alike, a measuring tool and a clamp for wheelie bin lids.

Three entrepreneurs come together to discover what our cast of customers think of their inventions. Joined in the studio by presenter Lucy Alexander, the nervous inventors watch footage of customers as they unbox, test, review and score their precious products. In this episode, we meet Scott, Steve and Purdey, all hoping to get the highest score from the customers to be crowned the winner.

Aware he was being a neighbourhood menace with his noisy, banging bin lids, electrician Scott has come up with a gadget that clamps on to the back of a wheelie bin to prevent the lid going bump in the night. When tradesman Steve was commissioned to measure up some door frames, he came up with a simple stainless steel tool which gives exact measurements. Entrepreneur Purdey worked in banking before quitting and leaving to join the circus as a trapeze artist, but her real dream was to run her own business. When her young daughter developed an aversion to having her hair rinsed, Purdey came up with the idea of a dry-wash shampoo for kids that would help calm bath-time traumas.

Once all three inventors have watched the customer reviews and given their own thoughts on the feedback, Lucy reveals who has won the coveted The Customer Is Always Right winner’s trophy.
