Customers test and score a biodegradable lunchbox, a tool for getting coffee grounds out of cafetieres and an all-in-one kids' waterproof.

Lucy Alexander is joined by three inventors to watch footage of customers as they unbox, test, review and score their precious products. In this episode, we meet Lisa, Joe and Lottie, all hoping to receive the highest scores from the customers and be crowned the winner.

Parents to three small children, Lisa and Luke were conscious of their family’s carbon footprint, so when their eldest son was made an β€˜eco-warrior’ at primary school, they wanted to do their bit. Researching sustainable materials, they hit upon recycled rice husks which they used to make biodegradable lunch boxes. Coffee-loving former archaeologist Joe came up with a cafetiere accessory with a dual-purpose base which improves the flavour of coffee on plunging and scoops up the grounds with a simple twist when finished. One too many wet school runs gave Lottie the idea for an all-in-one waterproof for children with no need to remove shoes, a hood which fits over helmets and hidden magnets for a speedy fastening.

Once all three inventors have watched the customer reviews and given their own thoughts on the feedback, Lucy reveals who has won the coveted The Customer Is Always Right winner’s trophy.
